Integrating IBM Watson chatbot with Python and Own Database
$begingroup$
I have created a Chatbot using IBM Watson Assistant
.
Those are mostly FAQs and some basic Questions which doesn't need to interact with DataBase.
But I want to go one step further and create a Python Web Service which will 1st connect to Android App and get user input(i.e. Question) and after recieving question, it will interact with either with DB or Watson to get an answer.
Eg. If user asks
what is my membership status?
It will 1st get info from the database using userid and provide the answer accordingly.
I am not sure how to go with it. I am not sure if this is right approach.
Most of the tutorials only show how to create a chatbot on IBM Cloud only.
And I am looking at this Python SDK but not much informative for me.
If someone can point out good resources or better approaches for above, It would be really helpful.
