How can i decide the processing power based on the dataset?

To Train a model in machine learning computer needs more processing power then powerful CPU is needed, since it need large data set, it needs more memory, so rather CPU, GPU is solution.



Do we need to decide processor before we proceed, for example 30000 data set will needs this much processing power.
